DANIELLE LOWE SELECTED FOR EDMONTON CATHOLIC SCHOOLS' SUPERINTENDENT'S AWARD OF EXCELLENCE - MAY 26

Danielle Lowe was honored to be bestowed with the Edmonton Catholic School's Superintendent's Award of Excellence.  She was nominated by her school, Louis St. Laurent.  Danielle was recognized for her commitment towards the many non-profit organizations in our community including the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation and the Little Warriors.

Danielle comments below:

"Last week, I was very honoured to receive the 'Superintendent's Award of Excellence'. This award goes to kids who are nominated by their schools for their leadership and other qualities. When I was reading some of the other winners' summaries I was so inspired; they were amazing and all so deserving of this award. Working in the community, helping tutor other kids, and working on initiatives to boost school spirit are all examples of some of the great things they've done. I was nominated for all of the work I've done in the community, using my talent as a singer to provide entertainment for and promote the causes of not-for-profit organizations such as the 'Little Warriors' and the 'Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation'.

"Receiving this award makes me feel very proud to be a part of Pure Artists and Premiere Entertainment. We all contribute to the community like in 'Reach out for Tomorrow', ‘Soaring With Song’ and every other not-for-profit event we sing at. We sing no matter what. Outside if there is rain or shine, whether there are five people or 500 people and even if we are sick, we always give it our all. Wes is a huge role model for us. He is always helping us, setting up equipment and spending so many hours of his time for us. When I accepted that award last Wednesday I didn't just accept it for me. Each and every one of us deserves this award, so congratulations to all of you!"
